I always feel so under-qualified in the language and infantile in revival understanding, but anyone who is an ardent watcher of the times can see that something big is stirring and building across the earth. Revival is here and God brings it to refresh, recalibrate and refuel His children. I hear these amazing stories of God touching people’s lives and nations and families being turned upside down and right-side-up by His power and presence. There was a time I took offence that all these th... Continue reading...

One of the most freeing moments in my life came when it dawned on me that it's okay to be a work in progess. I had spent most of my life trying to work hard at making sure that I never scared anyone away by being unwantable. So I have danced my vigourous tango with Performance, when "he" was done tossing me around in his sardonic arms, I'd go waltzing with "Fear of Man", sublimely pretending to only be "all things to all man so that I could win some over". The more I tried to run from the sha... Continue reading...

God is a lover. He is the furnace of ravishing affection, adoration and radical abandonment. He gives definition and substance to the mysterious concept of the love. He isn't only embodied in the feeling of love but He becomes the word, realm and atmosphere called love. Love finds its only real context in Him because He is the only One who turns a word so misunderstood, misused, and misplaced into a place. If love had a location it would be in the core of who God is.
Imagine God, so real tha... Continue reading...

A wise woman called Julia Swain once prophesied over my life: "Lusi, your creativity has made you a person of twirls and cirles. These represent the sponteneity, emotion and abstract things that make you unique. But God wants to balance you with lines, right angles and squares, representing order, discipline and reason, to make you more mature in your dynamic personality." For a second I thought: "Wait a minute, I like circles and twirls!". Mainly I was more concerned about holding on to the ... Continue reading...

You know there are times when I wish we got every memo we'd ever need when we got born. Maybe it could have been a chip that gets supernaturally transplanted at the back of your neck, mainly because the back of the neck is a cool place to find a supernatural micro-chip. You've seen the movies, the unsuspecting subject finds the barcode and his face contorts and then he falls down, hands to the sky screaming "Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy?" But we wouldn't lament like that guy. We would be happy beca... Continue reading...

I firmly believe that any man's finest hour, the greatest fulfillment of all that he holds dear, is that moment when he has worked his heart out in a good cause and lies exhausted on the field of battle - victorious. Vince Lombardi Hearts are fascinating things, you know. Though it may be the seat of understanding it can be the greatest vortex of emotional upheaval, setting your whole world on edge with speculation. Though it’s the organ most indicative of all life forms, it is the organ... Continue reading...

It’s all that beautiful here in Hillcrest today. The sun is shining unexpectedly and even though a mist-like dust hovers over this homely vista, my heart remains captured by the hope that the weather-man has smiled on this suburb again. The last time we house-sat for Wayne and Trisha it was nothing short of an unending mumbling of an unprepared ranger. Now I know better than to spend an opportunity of beholding beauty complaining. There were some things I figured out last time only two days... Continue reading...

In Revelation 5 we
see a scene where the angels, creatures and elders in the Throne room are
caught up in revelry and awe of the Ancient God. They have just comprehended
the amazing plan of God to make Jesus the Captain of all man's salvation. At
this they break out into a new song! This goes on and on and they sing what
they see!! What they are singing and declaring is what God is doing, they sing
out their awe. Their new song was a result of fresh revelation of God.
The root of all si... Continue reading...

"The earth is waiting or the sons of God to take up their
former dominion over the earth and it's production. The restoration of the new
song may be a piece of what impacts the restoration of the earth -Dan
McCollam "Redeeming a sound"
There is a divine
connection that God created between the earth and man. Man was created in God's
image, to be God's representative on earth. Man was meant to have dominion and
enjoy a kingdom like Go ruled an reigned in heaven. God intended to extend the p... Continue reading...

Romans 8:19-22
19 For the creation waits with eager expectation
for the children of God to be revealed.
20 For the creation was subjected to vanity, not
of its own will, but because of him who subjected it, in hope 21 that the creation itself also will be
delivered from the bondage of decay into the liberty of the glory of the
children of God. 22 For we know that the whole creation groans
and travails in pain together until now.
When I see the dusty
phantasmal pink hue over the ... Continue reading...
